Hi Lee
If I remember right gcc is in /usr/bin/gcc-*
>From there In created a symlink from /usr/bin/gcc-4.1 (installed on my
opensuse10.2) to /usr/bin/gcc
 Pointed vmware at that and it compiled a new module.
