[Xastir] CYGWIN?

         Yes, and quite a lot of info went by in the command window 
-- but it looks as if it all worked OK.

         Pretty much the same thing, I even re-booted as David 
suggested.  Once in the "X" window, this is the output:

$ xastir

$

         Not sure what else to try now.
