Ok.  That version is "oldish", but then we haven't released a new
stable version since then.  You have _no_ additional map libraries
compiled in, so you just have the basic default set which includes:

    USGS GNIS
    PocketAPRS
    DosAPRS
    WinAPRS

You won't be able to take advantage of any of the nicer Canadian
maps with the setup you currently have, but you can download any
maps of the above types and they should work.  A possible exception
is the USGS GNIS format as we just heard they changed their format
again.

Since you're running SuSE, I can probably help you do do some
updates.  I run OpenSUSE 10.0 currently on several systems and
create RPM's for that.  You may be able to run one of those RPM's,
or if not, there's an LSB RPM that should work fine for you.  Either
of those options will give you more map options than you have now,
including online maps and Shapefile maps.

Examine the "SUSE-RPM" and "LSB" directories.
