I got festival server running (thanks again for the help). I hit the test button on the Configure Speech window and the test message Welcome to Xastir is heard. But... I still have all of the selections greyed out for selecting what I want speech to do...... I'm getting closer! -- Bob n8fau15 at gmail.com
