Hi Curt, and hi all...

I really don't know whether this is all worth it. It might be better
to put uiview32 on Xp in VirtualBox.
Did the cvs update -P -d, that got me through till it barfed on the
xfontsel. Installed that, and got a clean build, but no raster maps.
WHAT???
Took out GraphicsMagick stuff, re-did from start with ./config showing
ImageMagick, same - no raster maps.
Went back to older tarball setup, bootstrap, ./configure there still
shows GraphicsMagick - WHAT AGAIN??? su, make install... thought it
might just install the older binary, but NO - it made a new one (AND
MADE AS ROOT - though that doesn't seem to matter, it probably does).
Bang goes the neighbourhood - can't even put an old one in now. Us
dummies get used to doing make, then make install as root to _just_ put
things where they ought to be.

Going to bed...
