[Xastir] Sending Messages...aka check the hardware first!

Hi,

This started happening to me recently about the same time as I did a  
cvs checkout.. and I didn't get time to look for the problem until  
this evening.

notice that xastir is splitting the output over two lines.

I started looking at xastir with gdb... that all seemed ok.. then it  
dawned on me to check paclen on my TS-2000. It was set to 32... ouch.
Now I've no idea how it got set to 32.  I guess thats what I get for  
not running it in kiss mode..
