Yea.  If you end up with something without the "configure" script,
then the first step is "./bootstrap.sh" but otherwise correct.  I
think the released files have "configure" already built though, so
you should be good.  If you later decide to build from CVS (latest
development sources), you'll need to run bootstrap.sh first.

Might get you there, might not.  You may be missing quite a few
development headers here and there.  Post any problems to the list
and we'll help you work through them as they come up.
