[Xastir] xastir crashed on mac os X leopard

I had crashing issues with 1.9.5 on a PPC Mac running Tiger (10.4.11)  
but 1.9.4 worked for me.  The display just didn't come up at all, no  
error messages in terminal.  I haven't again tried since upgrading a   
bunch of my macports libraries.
