All,

I suggest that you go and read the following document, http://www.census.gov/geo/www/tiger/tgrshp2008/TGRSHP08.pdf, and decide for yourself what you want to keep or not. 

This is the master document defining the TIGER 2008 map set. Yes, it is a long dry read but a necessary document for the .dbfawk cook. This is the document that I used to do my cooking of my .dbfawk files.

Curt says he uses arealm.shp, areawater.shp, edges.shp, and tabblock.shp these
all appear in their respective folders such as "tl_2008_29165_tabblock
Folder". So the question begs what about all those other folders do we need
them, can we throw them out to save some space?

How about cousub and cousub00?

Too many to name but some include; bg00, addrfn, etc. can we toss them?
