But it is not really stable. There are many bugs that have been fixed since
then, one of them caused Xastir to segfault when using server ports. That's
the problem with sticking to old versions. If you check the release notes (if
Curt figures out how to post them), there is quite a list of bugs that have
been fixed in the year and a half since 1.9.4 was released.
