Since you are recompiling, yes.  I edited the 'update-xastir' script  
to add some extra arguments to the configure step (hopefully that  
script won't itself be updated in the near future).  This way, all I  
need to do is to invoke the script to perform all the steps needed to  
update via CVS, configure, compile and install.
