[Xastir] {Dangerous Content?} RE: soundmodem stops decoding

I've been running soundmodem and xastir as root to try and eliminate permissions problems.

Rgr.  That last won't matter as it's a socket connection to the
Festival daemon.

Does the user you're running Xastir as have permission to access the
port?
