[Xastir] compile install xastir on ubuntu 11.04 -- what operator malfunction this time

I can help with the font.  Installing xfs cured it for me.  I was seeing the
font messages too.  I quick search on Google took care of it for me.

I do not have festival installed so I get that message.

I have seen the out-of-range but it is not stopping xastir from working in
my case.
