[Xastir] Xastir Digest, Vol 69, Issue 9 k8pet Ubuntu 11.04 issues -- resolved

[K8PET]

Thanks to Curt WE7U and Steve KD5MKV, the problem was isolated ans resolved.
 The system monitor did not show another instance of xastir running, but
closer inspection of the error gave the clue!

xastir symbols files were under /usr/local/share/symbols but the error was
for the file  /usr/share/symbols/2x2.xbm!

There really was no such file!  I deleted xastir.cnf in ~/.xastir and voila,
I could run as a regular user!
