Does Xastir display "Special Marine" weather warnings or not?

If not then it should.

"Special Marine" warnings are issued for severe storms over large bodies
of water such as the Great Lakes; especially when the formation of a
water spout (offshore TORNADO) is highly probable.

Those waterspout's can become instant tornadoes at the shoreline.
