Jim, I must have zoned-out on not using google. Shame on me. That did the trick. But, now when I tried to run xastir, I get nothing. I do see a strange error message when running in a terminal. I'll tackle that later. I decided to to do an update for 9.04. Much to my surprise, it is no longer supported. So, on to 9.10 update, as I write this. Not sure which "older" ubuntu is still supported.
As soon as I get the op-sys updated to something current, and supportable, I'll go back and bring xastir up-to-date.
