Depends on what you want to do.  If you want Xastir to function as a weather station on APRS, then you need to take a look at the Davis directory in the Xastir sources.

If you want to do graphing and logging, as well as feeding CWOP and Xastir from it, then you'll likely need some other package.  Actually it looks like Meteo and MySQL are the two things you need for Xastir support w/Davis, so check to see whether Meteo can do the other things you need at the same time.  I don't have any Davis equipment to test with, I just have LaCrosse and Dallas Semiconductor stations, so that's about the limit of my help for you.  Hopefully others that are running a Davis weather station can jump in here with further info.
