[Xastir] WX comment

Which source file and where in the file would I edit it so I can add in a comment after my WX data string?
Example.  This string is sent out over the air using Xastir as-is:=4207.44N/08747.10W_360/000g002t028r000P000p000h51b10287
I want to append a comment like "WX/I-gate" or my QTH after that.  UI-View does it. There has to be a way we could do it, right?
