[Xastir] OSM tiles not displaying

If you start Xastir from a terminal and try the OSM maps, do any error
messages appear in the terminal?
Also what version of Xastir are you using?

 Watching Wireshark I can see a connection to an OSM server happen and I
can see the tiles in the OSMtiles directory.  Xastir appears to try to
render the tiles (I think) but the maps won't display.  What am I missing?
