[Xastir] Offline Maps update?

Speaking of OSM, or all of the online maps in general, does anybody else experience blurry maps at some times if you use the mouse click and drag to zoom in? It's really hard to get it out of the blurry mode and I have to try many different rectangle shapes from the click and drag zoom.

Anybody else experience this?
