[Xastir] APRS Summer Gathering this weekend

For any interested in digital voice, APRS, packet, digital HF modes, etc:

The APRS Summer Gathering, sometimes known as the Digital Summer Gathering,
is THIS WEEKEND in North Bend, WA. Seminars run Saturday from 9am until
they finish in the mid-afternoon.

One of my buddies will be doing a talk on the ADS-B and AIS scripts I wrote
this year: These allow displaying ships and/or aircraft in real-time on an
Xastir map screen.

The event is free, but donations to the camp are welcome for letting us use
the facilities. Camping, geocaching, hiking are all readily accessible from
this beautiful camp in the woods. Tom & Teena Proehl and family (all of
them hams) manage the camp which has a bunkhouse, tent areas, RV hookups,
etc.
