[Xastir] Serial Interfaces will not start

I had Xastir working fine on OpenSuse LEAP until upgrades were installed.

 

After this, I cannot start previously working interfaces to my TNC.

 

I have verified that the TNC is active on the serial port by using Minicom.

 

I have restarted the PC but that did not help.

 

I am overlooking something maybe a security setting that was updated during
the upgrade installation.
