[Xastir] Cygwin Users?

Is anyone on the list currently running Xastir under Cygwin (or do you
want to try?)

I've been working on some substantial updates to the README.CYGWIN
file.  Lot's of info was outdated or addressed issues in older versions
of Windows and Cygwin than are likely to be encountered these days. 
I've come up with a simpler way to install all the dependencies.  If
you'd like to try out the updated docs on installing Cygwin and getting
Xastir running, please shoot me an email off list and I'll send it to
you.

Also, is anyone currently using Cygwin also using sound alerts?  I've
run into a bug that may be on the Cygwin side (already reported on the
dev list) but am interested in seeing if the sound alerts are working
reliably for anyone.
