hi Cristof, I'm not familiar with this device, but the web site says it has a "Bluetooth interface support and a KISS TNC operation". Have you tried using bluetooth? On the pi 3 that bluetooth connection would be presented as a virtual serial port, which xastir does know how to interface with. -Jason kg4wsv
