[Xastir] No more OSM maps with fresh install v 2.1.7 from GIT

This is puzzling.

Rather than copy the map_index.sys file from another system, please try
running the "Reindex ALL Maps!" function under the Maps->Configure menu.
This is supposed to run through the /usr/local/share/xastir/maps directory
and index all those it finds.

When it completes, its supposed to show all of those maps in the map chooser.

I can't explain why it would not have done this map reindexing when it
first ran, and would have to find a virgin system to build Xastir on to
reproduce.

When you say you built with "provided script" what script is that?    Is it
the one that Lee wrote?

If reindexing doesn't do the trick, we'll need to dig into what actually got
done to install and whether all the bits necessary for OSM maps are actually
being compiled in.

What does your "Help->About" box show about "Libraries used"?
