Thank you for your replies Liz, problems solved. VK2TV suggested that I 
try aunz.aprs2.net and I was surprised by the amount of activity.

Even though running Xastir online is interesting (there was a balloon 
floating around yesterday), I have to see what I can do to get back on air.
