Thank you Liz,

I had this working the day you answered but due to a fresh installation 
of Kubuntu I've had to start afresh. Now stations aren't being displayed 
on the map. I cannot remember if I needed a pass-code or not, you 
mentioned that I need a call sign to get data from aunz.aprs2.net. I 
tried my call sign in the pass-code box but that's not the answer. Only 
my call sign is listed under "all stations" and nothing else.

This is frustrating me beyond belief, do I need a pass-code or is 
whatever I'm missing less obvious?
