[Xastir] Internet path include local Igate?

My Xastir is connected to the Internet here, no radios.  Is it possible to add a path to the DEFAULT PATH to include the local Igate/digi?   I run an APRS check-in net and would like to send out a QST prior to the net, but my local Igate doesn't respond to it, only to calls directed at local users checking in.  

Any help would be welcome.
