A better fix will be to make cURL follow redirects.  That involves hacking
all the code that sets up cURL sessions, but I think it's just a matter of
adding a single option setting in both dlm.c and fetch_remote.c.  

Once again, it's the *testing* that is the hard part, and I probably won't
get to it this week.
