[Xastir-Dev] Re-org of file releases?

One thing we can and should consider is the concept of rewriting 
README.1st to be just a little more explicit (no sarcasm intended). 
It's pretty good, but we need to get an editor involved... like my 
wife... who's not already intimate with makefiles and autoconf.
