Nothing has changed on my side.  You did add threads, but that
shouldn't be causing this problem. 

For what it's worth, just because the XPM file displays doesn't mean
it's not corrupt.  It's possible that the code that looks to translate
between XPM and PNG has a lower tolerance for error.  Can you convert
it from the command line?
