The biggest difference between what I described and an eBook is
roughly two thousand dollars. The win in portability and reliability
and flexibility is obvious, but the cost factor prevents me from ever
experiencing such a machine. It was a great deal of effort to get
another $500 desktop, for goodness's sake. :-)
