OK... Here's my take on the updated information:

	I have no objection to updating the spec to include case inspecificity.

	I think using case to imply meanings not included in the spec. is a
	bad idea.

	I think that if we think [un]attended is important enough, we should
	add a flag to the spec for that purpose.  I think overloading the case
	of other fields is not the way to achieve flags.

Just my $0.02.
