Just to keep everyone updated (as if anyone has any interest in
this!): I believe I was wrong about xvertext being used in X11
itself. It appears to have been in the contrib directory of X11,
but not in the main body.
I did find some good stuff in the debian-legal mailing list about
the xvertext license and I think the problem should be solved soon.
I'll forward my last message that I sent to the SuSE guy out to this
list so you people are aware of the issues.
