Roger.  I was thinking of a testing environment rather than a
run-time requirement.  For testing a Linux box or a Linux VMWare
instance wouldn't be difficult, and pty's are easy to play with.

Perhaps one of your hard requirements is that all of the testing can
be done on Windows.
