If I remember correctly the code that was capable of using the .geo
file to do TigerMap stuff was removed, so only the new method works
now.

You might also check whether your ImageMagick has the proper support
in it for GIF/JPG/PNG files.  I thought TigerMap switched to PNG a
while back, but now that I look at a recent file it's back to GIF.

Try the "identify" and "display" commands to see if it has the
support compiled in.
