[Xastir] Question/suggestion

Now there's an idea.  I was thinking of a simple stand-alone messaging app.
Instead, I think a jabber (http://www.jabbercentral.org) transport is in 
order.

For those that don't know about jabber, it's an open-source instant messaging
protocol with distributed servers.  The protocol has been submitted as a
potential internet standard.  The server software includes transports that 
link it to users on ICQ,IRC,MSN,AIM etc.    I run a jabber server on our
WETNET (http://wetnet.net) system with AIM and ICQ transports.  If any
of you use a jabber compatible client, you're welcome to register with
jabber.wetnet.net.
