More'n welcome

Couple of notes:

The 'up2date' RH Network support for online updates is available to all
- paid or not. I've 3 RH boxen here that are up2dated regularly - just
used a separate email addy for each when I registered 'em.

As root, just run rhn_register and away you go! If you've an active
gnome desktop, you'll get the GUI'd version.

After that, visit the Redhat network website and enable your 'basic'
whatever it's called. Then back at the CLI, run:

up2date -l

(if you just run up2date while in a GUI, you'll get it's GUI'd frontend
- not too bad at all)
That'll show you what's available for updates

up2date -u

Will update whatever you have on your system. pretty slick

You can also install new stuff w/up2date - say, you want 'gedit', then
just run:

up2date gedit

And there ya go. Nice twist is it deals with all your dependencies for
ya. You can even chain 'em such as:

up2date gedit gnucash gaim

Of course, you can only install what RH has on their up2date server for
ya.

Good luck!
