Put a zip drive on it and run zipslack.  Actually you can probably
trim zipslack back to a small amount and stick it on there directly.
I remember having Linux in a 20MB partition before with a lot of
hand-tuning, but don't remember doing it with any less.

I just threw some 85MB full-height ST-506 hard drives onto the pile
outside.
