[Xastir] Couldn't allocate color problem

I'll bet you're in 256 color (8-bit) mode for you X-server, right?
Perhaps you've also run Netscape or some other app previous to the
Xastir run that stole a bunch of the colors as well.  Common
problem.

Change to 16-color mode and you should no longer get these messages.
You may have to reconfigure your X-server to get there.

Oops!  Don't run that one.  That is a year old now.  We have
development releases coming out about every two weeks.  Run the Feb
02, 2003 version.  Go to http://xastir.sourceforge.net to get it.

You'll be amazed at the changes that have ocurred since version
1.1.0!  Lot's of bugfixes too.
