Yes.  And MacOSX/Lindows/Solaris/FreeBSD/whatever else that comes
along.

The purpose of it was to get up-to-date on the current autotools
stuff, and to fix several problems with the old system, some of which
became apparent with Cygwin, but others that have been around for a
while.  Perhaps you might have noticed that the buglist shrank just
a bit recently?
