[Xastir] new automake

Have autoconf 2.57 and automake 1.72 working on my RH7.1 box.
The RH8.0 RPMs required some Perl modules that I did not have. So I went for 
the source (always use the source Luke).

They  installed fine. I made sure they installed into /usr by setting the 
install prefix during configure.

More importantly xastir compiled fine.  configure complained about an old 
imagemagik. Any real benefit in upgrading imagemagik. Hate changing something 
that is not broke.

I really like the new timings slider bars. I always thought the 6 hour 
timeout on a old station was just a bit long.

Great work developers, this project shows what open source can really do.

The evil empire would have listed this project on NASDAQ by now.
