[Xastir] xastir and cpu usage

I installed aprsd on my machine. I started xastir and connected to aprsd. 
It has been running great for an hour now without the 100% cpu usage. 
This leads me to believe that there is something in the code that isn't 
quite right that deals with Internet connections. This would also explain
the other gentleman's problem with xastir going to sleep.
