You know of course that the File->Enable PNG Snapshots feature will
work if you have ImageMagick compiled into Xastir, right?  It will take
a snapshot every five minutes automatically, or whenever you turn ON
that togglebutton (toggle it off/on to take another one).  Then go
collect your snapshots in "/var/tmp".

Nope.  Not yet...  Xastir-2 will give you that capability though.  We
have to kick out this next stable release so we can start on that
project.
