What maybe a semi-working solution for now (without using MKISS and AX.25) 
is to use different tty ports of the different TNCs so the interfaces look 
different that way...

If you serial port is /dev/ttyS0 and tou have a KPC3, AEA and MJF modem you 
could make symbolic links from /dev/ttyS0 to /dev/KPC3, /dev/AEA and 
/dev/MJF and use those devicenames in the interface specification. Then you 
know which interface is used and which initialisation file is run on the TNC.

Not a brilliant solution but it looks like it could work to me. One gotcha, 
I have not tested this...

P.S. 6pack can be daisychained, however you need to have 6pack in every 
TNC. With closed-source TNCs that may not be possible.
