[Xastir] Cartographers? UTM/UPS Questions

Curt,

The 500K value is definitely correct on the data I have. If you take a
look at http://www.fgdc.gov you can find most of the current US
standards. MGRS is covered there as the "US National Grid" -
FGDC-STD-011-2001. Support for MGRS would be an excellent addition to
Xastir. As operations become integrated between local/state/federal and
civillian/military organizations, having systems which can speak all the
coordinate systems in use can be a huge win.

I can't really speak to the UPS coordinates. I know its different in
the extreme lattitude zones, but don't recall the details. I expect
you've found good data though.
