[Xastir] Can't run under Cygwin now

Maybe it helps to start "clean". Move .xastir to .xastir.sav and see what 
happens, Xastir should create a new .xastir dir.

Prior to that you could try to copy .xastir/config/xastir.bak back to 
.xastir/config/xastir.cnf.

OTOH chances are that you already tried all this since it is a bit trivial. 
The reason I mention this is because somewhere in my long-term memory I 
remember that the config file had something to do with this (or a similar 
problem). But is has been a long time ago so I can't reproduce the details 
and a search through my archived mail gave nothing.

On my 486 RH 5.2 system I use an, by now antique, Lesstif 0.92.26 compiled 
from a tar-ball, never had any problems with that (with Xastir snatched 
from CVS on October 25).
