[Xastir] Hurricane

So, looking at Gerry's wonderful radar image plus the alerts put out
by Dale, I'm seeing these discrepancies (hooked to firenet feed by
the way):

1) The eye of the storm on Gerry's data is approximately 285 miles
behind where the eye of the storm is plotted by the national
hurricane center. Does it take that long to collect/process the
data?

2) I'm only seeing one multipoint object alert along the coast, and
it is from the expected landfall of the center of the storm, north
along the coast. Nothing for the southern part of the center of the
storm.

3) No counties are lighting up in that area.

I would have expected both the land and the marine zones in that
area to be just a mess of highlights.

The radar image is spectacular though!
