Yes.  

I am either printing out or taking notes on the
replies I get.  I don't know how much time i'll be
able to spend on working on things before the weekend.

Meanwhile my Cygwin Xastir box is running 1.2.1 
with shapelibs, and the Red Hat box is running 1.2.0
with just the aprs-dos maps.
