I generally do. I have lots of software out there. The weirdest thing is one someone contacts me about something I wrote like 10 years ago.
I'm surprised that it even still works.

As for this project, basically it will just be a nice interface to one particular station for the web.
You can take a look at http://www.wimac.org/wx/index.php (click on the "Click Me" button).
Unfortunately that station has been off-line for a while now. It should be back up though in about 2 weeks.
We just installed some nice 15db Yagi's (well one side is installed, the receiving station should be up next week).
But it gave you current conditions and 24hrs trend graphs etc.
Also displayed wind as an overlay to the runway. You can take a look at http://www.rconline.ca/wind/index.php?id=1&club_id=1 to get an idea.
I use METAR reports to build that one.

We are opening up a second runway at a location where it will no longer be possisble to use a set of small data modems (50km away).
So I will put the data out over APRS and catch it over the net to populate the database. I was lucky and just picked up a 20W APRS digipeater for 20$ including shipping on EBay. I will probably write the app that captures the data and puts it in a MySQL database in Java and the display will use PHP and gdlib.

I have another question but will ask it in a new message.....

Cheers,
Mike
